It is a truly unique area where you can see the launch of the space shuttle from the Kennedy Space Center, then skim over to St. John's River marshes in an air boat to search for the prestine wildlife such as gators, exotic birds and many types of fish. Also, you are minutes to the beaches and the infamous "Ron Jon's Surf Shop" located in Cocoa Beach. Traveling? The Orlando International Airport is only 35 minutes west of Merritt Island and just minutes to phenomenal Port Canaveral, the nations second busiest cruise port terminal with cruise lines such as Disney Cruise Lines, Royal Carribean, and Carnival Cruise Lines.
